Over all pretty satisfied with the computer. I included a screenshot of a benchmark run in a fully updated version of Cyberpunk 2077. New install with nothing tweaked. Take from that what you will. CPU is air cooled. Would have preferred AIO cooling, but at least the case has everything to put one in myself later. About that air cooling. It takes up a memory slot. Pretty big fan. I think that’s my only gripe so far. At least it looks like upgrading this PC will be easy.

As someone who prefers to build my own, i was skeptical about finally having a prebuilt. This is a quality gaming rig, pretty clean cable mgmt, and it absolutely dunks on any 1440 ultra settings i throw at it. Good on temps, fans are quiet as a whisper with slight whoosh when the cpu is going hard. Predatorsense software is decent, w good presets for rgb. Shiny! All in all, I would say this is a high fps and quality to $$$ machine. Consume consume consume and buy this without hesitation.

Runs great, liquid cooling in the box for the cpu would have been nice but without overclocking it is running well, never too loud even on AAA games, highly recommended kit aside from the cpu fan and rather slow ram (2200mhz)

I was very reluctant in picking up a prebuilt, especailly an OEM prebuilt, as I always build out all of my PC’s. But, with GPU’s being scarce, and me not being very excited for the upcoming 5000 series (I don’t care about framegen and DLSS 4, enjoy those fake frames!), I bit the bullet and picked this one up, as the 4070 ti super is nearly impossible to find now.
All in all, I’m very pleased. This handls 4K video editing with Davinci Resolve with ease, and has been fantastic with my racing sims – ACC and iRacing. I’m able to pull of basic 4K edits without using proxies at all, and complex edits with plenty of fusion nodes while only going down to half-res on the timeline. Edits are like butter now compared to my old 1660 Super rig.
I’m knocking this down 1 star for the following reasons:
1. A couple of the fans are a little louder than they should be at idle. In ramping up the fan speeds individually via the PredatorSense app, it sounds like it’s the rear exhaust fan or the PC cooling fan, they seem to be feeding off of each other, so to speak. It’ll make a little whirling type noise, and it can vary depending on the fan’s speed. It’s not even close to being bothersome enough for me to want to RMA it, but it is there and is noticeably louder than my last PC I built out in 2020. It’s not bad or anything, just a little annoying when it’s completely silent in my office and I’m trying to crank out a late night edit. Naturally, closed back headphones mitigate this concern entitirely. Also, it’s hasn’t changed at all since I got it nearly 2 weeks ago, so I’m not concerned with it getting worse down the road. I even cranked all the fans up to max for 2 hours straight, just to be sure of things.
2. The included RAM is slow. It’s only 4,400mhz, and that will tick enthusiests off. I suppose on the plus side, the CPU is rated up to only 5,600mhz sticks anyways, and with it being a tad slower it should be more stable.
3. The predator symbol on the front of the case lights up along with the RGB fans. I wan’t to hid this logo by turning off it’s RGB lighting, but there’s no option in the software to do that. I’ll have to disconnect the pin hearder, no big deal, but figured I’d mention it.
On the plus side, this prebuilt has been rock solid stable. The Event Logs look clean, minus some Acer update service that sends failed requests in the background from time to time, but nothing worth even mentioning. Device Manager is good, no conflicts at all. And all of the hardware has recent device drivers installed. CPU temps are between 36c and 55c when idle or watching youtube, and ramps up to 79c under heavy gaming load. Usually right around 45c. Those are respectable numbers for an air cooled Intel 14th gen CPU. The GPU and overal system temps are staying very low, usually in the 35c range, which is excellent.
Considering 4000 cards are hard to get right now, and 5000 cards will be eaten by scalpers for a while to come, I think the sale price of this machine makes a good offer in these times. I saw a couple prebuilts get listed ahead of the 5000 release that have the 5080 and 5090, and the prices were redic! We’re talking over 4.5K for the 5080 prebuilt, and over 7K for the 5090 machine. Way out of my price range, by a mile.
I’m happy with this PC, it’s a good all around machine.

So far, so good on performance. What I don’t like about it is that it came bundled with virus protection software that I don’t want or use as I have my band of AVS that I use. The uninstall process was difficult and unnecessary. I’m sure I paid extra somehow for this software that I did not ask for or want.

The computer runs great and the games play excellent. It runs the games in 4k on ultra settings with no issues but I usually play in 1080p on high. Temps are pretty good and you can change the speed through predator sense on the fly. Keep the fans clean of you have pets and the system will run fine. I cannot complain about this PC and the people are super friendly. Can’t beat it.

tldr; Good computer if you can find it in store or get it shipped to the store. No help from BBY if it arrives broken.
I liked this system for the 3 days I had it, and probably would have kept it and left a favorable review if the outsourced customer disservice staff hadn’t completely blown it with the after-purchase support. The system performed pretty much as I expected it would from the specs. Unfortunately when I unboxed the PC I noticed that the tempered glass front face was shattered and very sharp. I usually buy PCs from Dell (who, even though their customer service has declined since they offshored their callcenters, has always had excellent post-purchase support), so I figured no big deal, I’ll call up there and have them ship me a replacement part. Nope. After half an hour on the first call explaining that it wasn’t a broken monitor (I didn’t order a monitor, only a desktop pc) they told me to call a different number and talk to geek squad. I called that number and they told me… to call the same number that I was talking to them on and talk to geek squad.
Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I called again, and after explaining again that it wasn’t a broken monitor they told me to take the computer to my local store so they could order a replacement part. Off to the local store I go only to be told they can’t get replacement parts, they can only return the computer or ship it off for service, but if I called customer service back they could set up a reship, where they would send me a replacement system and a return label to ship this one back. That was acceptable, so I went back home and called again and was told they set everything up. Fast forward a few days, I get the return label and an email saying the reship was cancelled (with no reason listed). I called back and was told that they could only process one replacement and since they had already done that my only recourse was to return the system. That was confusing since at my last count I had received zero replacements, but apparently the attempted replacement counts and if “the system” cancels it there’s nothing more they can do. I asked to talk to a supervisor or escalations rep (who often have more authority to override “the system”) and was told that they were all on the phone but would call me back as soon as they are off the phone. No surprise, but they didn’t call. I ended up returning the system and ordering an Alienware (direct from Dell, done with BBY).
If you’re considering this system I would recommend it, just not from the BBY website.
Please note: None of this criticism is aimed at the staff at my local store. Every time I interacted with them they handled things professionally and courteously. The entirety of my frustration is with BBY’s offshored customer disservice department.
