The quality of this mic is impeccable, however it picks up literally everything. If you are looking to use this as a microphone for your computer to stream or do anything other than have short conversations or voice commands then a boom arm is mandatory. The stand it comes with picks up every tap, touch, bump, mouse click, or keyboard stroke that you make. I turned the mic onto cardiod and the gain all the way down and it still picks up my mouse clicks. I have gotten it down to a minimum with some third party programs, but it is still there.
This microphone is excellent for recording your voice or sounds that you need for editing, however it might pick up more than you would like.

I am a tech enthusiast gearing up to start a YouTube channel. This was recommended to me by multiple individuals. The three condensers in this mic allow for amazing audio pickup and sensitivity. It probably wouldn’t hurt to get a pop filter with this. The overall build of this is solid. This is a quality item being encased in a mix metal body. It looks sharp on the desk. However, the in box mic stand does pick up every tap on the keyboard and thumping on the desk. Other wise no complaints.
I use this for voice overs, recording acoustic instruments and to make regular FaceTime, google hangouts and skype calls as well (paired with my Logitech C930e). Being that I use a Mac Pro I also receive and make phone calls using this mic. Note this can be done with any Mac with OSX Yosemite. I highly recommended this mic. Don’t wait on it just jump.

So I have now had this for a couple weeks, firstly the price was amazing I think I paid just under a $100 after tax and I consider $80 just under. It has a full gain knob and volume for your headset. It has an aux for your headset to hear yourself speak. My favorite thing is its flexibility. There are 4 option for mic recording on it. Idk the names but 1 is single person up close basically 2 is like background capture for people and noises in the background 3 is multiple people up close from all direction and 4 is like two people sitting across from each other. That blew my mind when I heard it actually working. The quality of audio is also very clear.

Amazing sound quality at its price point, suitable for casual streamers or even just gamers who don’t stream! 4 different sound settings and adjustable gain make this mic stand out from others in the same price range

I purchased this mic to use for recording voice for a weekly radio show. Corona virus required us to avoid the radio station that my partner and I broadcast a weekly show from. One of my bandmates had purchased the Yeti for his home recordings so I was familiar with it. Its strongest features for computer recording are its switchable polar patterns (4 patterns), input level, headphone output which allows for real time, latency free monitoring and headphone output volume level (a nice feature). From the moment I plugged it into my system I’ve found it easy to use, trouble free and great sounding. I can recommend this mic without reservations.

I got this mic after having the yeti snowball for almost 2 years. It is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I use the mic to record audio in davinci resolve and I wanted to upgrade to something a little more versatile than the yeti snowball but not a $400 mic. As I’ve learned more about audio recoding the benefit of adjust the gain and pluging in headphone directly on the mic are actually useful now. You cab also adjust the audio pattern on the mic which is nice too. The sound quality is great but I wish there was a bundle that came with a pop filter. I got this $25 off because it was on sale, if it wasn’t i likely would have waited a few more months to get it. If you’re just starting out, a cheaper mic like the Yeti Snowball is perfect for what you need but if you’re looking for an upgrade–or have the money to buy a mic that will be useful for multiple years–this mic is a great option.

This has to be the best microphone for the money I’ve ever purchased. Recommend to someone who needs great quality, great sound recording functions and who is starting off with podcasting or music recording. For the price you’ll be getting the same as if you paid for another brand that’s $100 dollars more expensive. Never been more happy with a purchase. Oh and it’s the easiest SetUp you can get!
