Definitely hard foam as most reviews state. Wil have to see how it breaks in. Only other con is the inability to bring the arm rests in further. They’re too wide apart at its narrowest setting. Nothing a few drill holes could not fix though. Lastly the pillow could be thicker but otherwise very nice.
6’2″ 195lbs for reference. Upgraded from Corsair T3 Rush

There are little reviews for this chair so I decided to give it a try despite some complaints. The chair is beautiful in the green color and pairs well with my walnut desk and black walls. The material is like a breathable suede and is not pleather. I don’t see the material chipping like previous Corsair models but we shall see. I’m 5’9 and my head sits slightly over the top of the chair with my posture upright. Could be a problem for folks over 6ft tall. The seat base is very wide and comfortable, I like to sit with my leg crossed under the other and can easily do so. The magnetic pillow is great and comfortable. The chair does have a rocker toggle under the seat but I’m not sure if you’re able to adjust how much you can rock.
And now for the CONS, the arms do adjust a lot but are not firm enough to stay in place. It takes little force to adjust the arms so it’s likely you will move them on accident often. FYI, you can adjust the arm width by loosening the screws under the chair which has not been mentioned in any review! The seat is stiff but I don’t see this as a problem since most new furniture is stiff and requires a break in period. The seat is not uncomfortable brand new and I expect it to only get better over time.
Overall, I would recommend this chair but would only get it on sale.

Seem to be a good chair, had to look up the direction to put it together. Seems like they forgot to add that.

Love this chair. Used the T3 Rush before this, and this is quite a upgrade love the Sherwood color. Has a great adjustable lumbar support. Pillow is nice and plush. Very comfortable. I tend to cross my legs when playing in its got plenty of room for that.

Amazing gaming chair! Very simple to put together and there is even a dedicated YouTube video from Corsair to show you. The comfort is immaculate! I’m sure you’ll love this chair. It’s worth every penny!!

Ill start by saying that I was using this for a work from home job – not gaming.
I have owned other gaming chairs, even cheap ones from Staples, and found them to be ergonomically supportive, and comfortable.
I was hoping for the same from this chair.
The Sherwood Green is even better looking in-person. This chair looks and feels like it should cost significantly more.
It appears to be well built, is quiet, and sturdy.
I wanted this chair to work out, SO badly, but after sitting in it for a few days, I found it to be uncomfortable.
The upper framing of the lumbar mechanism buldges out, leaving a lump going across your upper back. (This doesn’t go away with the lumbar fully decompressed and down).
The reclinig mechanism also doesn’t have particularly close notches. When you adjust it, it either locks too far forward, or too far backward from my desired position, leaving me sitting too upright, or too far reclined.
The back is a little low for your head (anyone above 5’11” will find the middle of their heads or necks at the hard, upper edge of the chair.
The magnetically affixed pillow is soft and plush, but was not helpful to me.
The bottom cushion is extremely firm – borderline hard. This may break in overtime, but I could see it being an issue for some.
If not for these issues, this would be a truly perfect, statement-worthy chair.
