Nice rally game , graphics are nice new to this but have been enjoying it. Do recommend

Point to point rally racing. From asphalt, snow, and gravel its time to get your rally car dirty! I enjoy this game, and it is a challenge. However you will get use to these challenging courses. A lot of courses with a good training section if your new to rally racing. Campaign was glitched when i got the game eith an announcement on the title screen telling me not to play. However the online community is strong, and very competitive with a lot of talented rally racers. This game is rarely at the $50 release price. If you enjoy racing, beautifully done graphics, good controls and sound you should find this game on sale and give it a try. I probably would bump it to 4 stars once I play the campaign.

Pros: Great driving physics, excellent sounds
Cons: Graphics just okay, wonky control layout, EA login required for some features.
I have a nice Thrustmaster T300RS force feedback wheel and I am “forced” to use the DualSense controller to access game options, can’t do it with the wheel, square button for options is not supported. Also, the O button becomes the X button on the wheel, very annoying.
The steering was too sensitive at first but adjusting the steering linearity in the control options fixed that problem nicely.
I haven’t bothered with the career mode yet, just want to jump in and race. Luckily after the adjustments I made, the racing and handling on all surfaces is spot on and a ton of fun.

This game is quite in-depth and feels quite faithful to real rally racing

  5. howboutthembucks

Still a really good game, even if EA screwed up the title by ditching the Dirty Rally name for this.

Gameplay is reminiscent to Dirt Rally 2.0 and this is a great thing! I enjoy playing the time trial or quick play modes. Career mode was an interesting experience but not one I want to play again. Despite doing well in the races, if you don’t pay attention to the championships you entered in initially and continue to compete in them week to week you’ll end up short on overall points for that championship, landing you towards the bottom of the ranking. Next thing you know your team manager says something along the lines of “Max isn’t too happy” This negatively impacts your relationship standing with Max. Max is the name of your boss in the game, the person who is funding your racing team. It was just irritating more than anything else because honestly I don’t give a crap about what Max thinks, I just wanna race!

Great game I love it! Once I started playing it I couldn’t stop .I played the other WRC games I think this is the best one. I love the WRC dirt 2.0, this comes in second.

It’s a good enough game, definitely has some performance issues and glitches at times though.
