I have been using these for about a year now and I must say I have never had a pair of headphones with this sort of battery life, it’s insane. I game like 20 hours a week and I only have to charge these things like every few months. They’re also pretty comfy, much better than my Arctis 7’s. The only reel downside is the hyper ingenuity software for sucks.

Coming from the wired version of the same headset, there are several things I noticed going into this one.
1. Better build-quality. While all HyperX products in the Cloud series I’ve used so far have been well built, this headset really set a new benchmark for me. It’s solid, clean, and comfortable.
2. It’s lightweight. You know, I never expected a headset that boasts this sort of battery life to be lightweight. I seriously don’t know how it can simultaneously be *lighter* feeling than the Cloud Alpha Wired, but still boast equivalent if not better sound quality.
3. The battery life. Oh my god the battery life. If there’s any reason that you need to get this thing, it’s the battery life. Most manufacturers will make inflated claims about their battery life (it’s kind of expected, honestly). But this thing? I’ve charged it exactly 3 TIMES in the entire time that I’ve owned it. While the battery is obviously not going to last forever, it’s still so unreasonably strong that even in an old, depleted state, I can imagine it out-lasting all of its contemporaries.
OVERALL REVIEW:
Gorgeous headset, great sound quality, insane battery, 9.8/10. The only thing I wish this had was the ability to connect to a phone without an extra adapter sticking out the side. If it *could* connect to a phone, it would be an easy 10/10 for me.

This thing has confusing battery life. As in, I’m confused as to how it lasts this long without having an extended battery pack hanging off the back or something.
I’ve used it for basically three weeks straight and barely gotten it down to 60%, playing multiple hours per day. No exaggeration.
Sound quality is probably an 8/10, when I’m not gaming, I use some studio open-back headphones, which have a better clarity/soundstage, but for gaming this does the trick and even has some decent mids and bass that is absent in a lot of wireless headsets.
Quality feels solid. Not too heavy, and not so light that it feels cheap or breakable. The adjustment for the head strap tends to stay in place very well, on other headphones I sometimes have to adjust them back to the proper size each time I put it on, but not on these. Padding on the top is not the most comfortable, but it’s fine. I also wish it came in different colors, not a big fan of the red on black that HyperX uses on all their products, but it’s not the end of the world.
The only other negative criticism I would have of it is that the mic audio quality doesn’t sound the best, you’re certainly not going to be using it for recording podcasts or other high-quality audio, but for chatting in discord or games, it does the trick.
HyperX, quit holding out on us and release this super top-secret battery technology so that we can use it in electric vehicles /s

Battery on this lasts a long time. Didn’t have to charge it for over a month. Run this in stereo mode for competitive FPS games and you’ll be able to place footsteps easily. Mic quality is terrible but so are all the competitors. It’s comfortable but not the lightest headset I’ve owned. Good value for money especially if battery is important to you.

Sound quality has been incredible. Footsteps are very clear, and audible from a much further distance than my old wired headphones. Game tested on PS5 playing Apex Legends, Overwatch 2 and Rainbow Six Siege. Set up was very easy, just plug the usb receiver in and turn the headphones on. PS5 defaults to output audio through the headphones as soon as you plug the receiver in. You’ll have to switch the audio output each time you’d like to stream audio through the television. The ear cups are comfy, and the noise canceling effect is superb. I find myself gaming for hours fully immersed in the environment of any game I play, without feeling headset fatigue.

Excellent pair of wireless headphones that I recently purchased on sale during the holidays from bestbuy. I purchased these because of the wireless feature along with the great battery life. Haven’t had any problems with signal dropping the sound quality is great. Very comfortable if I am wearing them for long periods of time. I also have a pair of wired Astros that I used previously to these just got tired of the wire and having to take the headphones off when going from room to room as well as just taking controller and headphones with me.

I’ve had this headset for about a year or more and it has been the best headset I’ve used. The sound quality for one is top notch and I can hear everything perfectly and if I want to I can go into Ngenuity to change sound EQ if I want. The microphone is crisp and clear like all cloud hesdsets I’ve used. The build quality is also fantastic and comfortable so I will rank it as the most comfortable heqdset I’ve used. Lastly, the most incredible thing about this headset is the battery life and they are not misleading when HyperX says 300 hours. It is great to not worry about plugging it in and being free without a cord to hold you down. Overall great headset and reccomend to anyone!
