SAMSUNGG51C –
The Samsung Odyssey G51C is okay for PC gaming. It has a 165Hz refresh rate with VRR support to reduce screen tearing and low input lag for a responsive feel. However, fast-moving objects are blurry due to the slow response time. It also has a good native contrast ratio to display deep blacks against bright objects, but it lacks a local dimming feature to further improve it. It also fails to make highlights pop in HDR, and colors look muted.
Pros
FreeSync VRR and G-SYNC compatibility.
Low input lag.
High native contrast ratio.
Cons
Blurry motion due to slow response time.
Highlights don’t pop in HDR.
No local dimming feature.

Honestly an AMAZING monitor for the specs. The color is great, the refresh rate is amazing and the size is fantastic. The only downside I’ve noticed after switching from my 24 inch 240hz is that it does a weird blur when moving around a lot in games. Other than that, it works fantastic.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 32-inch monitor is an exceptional choice for gamers, professionals, and casual users who prioritize high performance and immersive visuals. Here’s a breakdown of its features and why it stands out:
Key Features:
1. WQHD Resolution (2560 x 1440): The display offers crisp, clear, and vibrant visuals, providing excellent clarity for gaming, streaming, or multitasking.
2. 165Hz Refresh Rate: Ideal for fast-paced gaming, the high refresh rate ensures smooth motion and reduces screen tearing, delivering a seamless experience.
3. 1ms Response Time: With near-instant response times, the monitor eliminates ghosting and provides sharp, precise visuals in every frame.
4. 1000R Curvature: The curve mimics the human eye’s natural field of view, offering unparalleled immersion and reducing eye strain during extended use.
5. AMD FreeSync Premium: This feature synchronizes the monitor with compatible GPUs, minimizing stutter and input lag for fluid gameplay.
6. HDR10 Support: High Dynamic Range enhances contrast and color accuracy, making visuals more lifelike and vibrant.
Pros:
• Immersive Design: The 1000R curvature is one of the best in the market, creating a truly immersive experience whether you’re gaming or working.
• Great Value for Price: The combination of advanced features and competitive pricing makes it a cost-effective choice.
• Versatility: While tailored for gaming, its performance and quality make it suitable for content creation, media consumption, and office work.
• Sturdy Build Quality: The design is sleek yet durable, with an adjustable stand that supports ergonomic positioning.
Cons:
• No Built-in Speakers: While this isn’t a dealbreaker for most users, it might be inconvenient for those who prefer an all-in-one solution.
• Limited Ports: It includes basic connectivity options, but some might find the lack of USB ports or additional HDMI slots restrictive.
• Viewing Angles: As with most VA panels, viewing angles can be slightly limited compared to IPS panels.
Conclusion:
The Samsung Odyssey G5 32-inch monitor is a fantastic option for anyone seeking a high-performance display. Its standout features, especially the 165Hz refresh rate, WQHD resolution, and immersive curvature, make it perfect for gaming enthusiasts and professionals alike. While it has minor drawbacks, they are easily outweighed by its overall value and performance.

I’ve been looking for a new monitor for my Xbox Series X for about a month now. I went to Best Buy yesterday morning just to look around and get a better idea of what I am looking for and to my surprise they had this monitor on sale for $250 which is cheaper than anything I’ve had my eyes on. I was looking for a 27” but that price, with everything I was looking for was impossible to pass up, especially since the sale ends on June 18th. I’m coming from an 24.5” monitor so 32” is a really big adjustment but it’s not as bad as I imagined before. I was super nervous all day because I was only able to get it set up and turn it on once before I had to go to work for 9 hours and I didn’t think it looked that great at baseline. Once I got home and adjusted everything to my liking I was blown away at how much of a difference it made in the picture quality. The response time is amazing, the refresh rate is about as smooth as butter and the FreeSync truly makes a tremendous difference from my old 144hz 1080p monitor. I didnt notice and stuttering or ghosting at all and movement looks super smooth. I honestly wasn’t expecting that much of a jump up but for $250 you can’t beat how much it really comes through. This is a slightly dim monitor at 300 nits but thats not a bad thing in my opinion because it’s much easier to look at for long periods of time. Thankfully my room stays pretty dark but even with the lights on it is still bright enough to not get drowned out by outside light sources. I’m glad the I pulled the trigger on this one and I am extremely happy with my decision!

The Samsung Odyssey G51C 32 monitor is an absolute game-changer for both work and gaming enthusiasts. As someone who spends hours in front of a screen daily, I can confidently say that this monitor delivers an unparalleled visual experience.
First and foremost, the image quality is simply stunning. The 32-inch display boasts crisp, vibrant colors and deep blacks, thanks to its VA panel technology. Whether you’re working on intricate design projects or immersing yourself in the latest AAA titles, every detail pops with exceptional clarity.
One of the standout features of the Odyssey G51C 32 is its impressive refresh rate and response time. With a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, motion blur is virtually nonexistent, ensuring smooth gameplay and fluid transitions. Whether you’re engaging in fast-paced FPS battles or exploring vast open worlds, every movement feels incredibly responsive and lifelike.
The monitor’s HDR10 support adds another layer of depth to the visuals, delivering stunning contrast and brightness for a more immersive viewing experience. Whether you’re watching movies or playing games, HDR content truly shines on this display, with highlights that pop and shadows that reveal subtle details.
In terms of design, the Odyssey G51C 32 exudes a sleek and modern aesthetic that will complement any gaming setup or workspace. The slim bezels maximize screen real estate, while the adjustable stand allows for customizable viewing angles and ergonomic comfort during long gaming sessions or work marathons.
Overall, the Samsung Odyssey G51C 32 monitor is a standout performer in both the work and gaming realms. With its stunning image quality, lightning-fast refresh rate, and immersive design, it’s a must-have for anyone seeking the ultimate visual experience. Whether you’re a professional designer, hardcore gamer, or casual user, this monitor will undoubtedly elevate your computing experience to new heights.

I got this monitor as a ‘deal of the day’. It is an awesome entry level 1440p gaming monitor, and for what I paid I have zero complaints! It’s big, it refreshes and responds fast, and it’s the perfect resolution for PC gaming.
The only real cons would come down to a buyers personal preferences and or needs. If you read the product description and specifications you’d know this monitor doesn’t have integrated speakers, doesn’t support nvidia g sync, and doesn’t have high end HDR capabilities.

I am enjoying using the monitor, with extra screen space compared to my other 27″ QHD monitor. Also a bonus that now I can move windows between monitors without resizing (my old second monitor was a regular HD). It also has a VESA mount which is helpful.
However, after a while I noticed a black spot on the monitor that turns out to be a cluster of 6 dead pixels. I’ve never had a monitor with dead pixels before, and unfortunately, I didn’t notice this until after the in-store return period. I guess it’s time to test the warranty.
