100% worth the purchase. I had a baby on the way an the camera arrived just in time for his birth for me to take pictures and videos using Real Time LUT feature (HUGE TIME SAVER) and send photos and videos right away to the family. Phenomenal Camera, sure its missing some bells and whistles but for my use case, it is absolutely perfect!

For some strange reason… I really like this camera. Expensive … but I purchased it at a good open box price… for what it is. Wish it had a hot shoe for example. That being said it is fun light and easy to use and takes great pictures. Love the Leica Black and White sim and luts. Still needs a good small full frame lens to go with it … I still really like it.

Great camera for amateurs and hobbyists. Planning taking this on trip and making memories. Camera takes brilliant pictures still, wanna get into some videography aside from still pics seems to be a choice with all it has to offer just some drawbacks such as a mechanical shutter and a evf aside from that its pretty awesome.

Overall, this is a poorly conceptualized camera that is trying to achieve best of both worlds. But thats my perspective.
Ergonomics wise the IBIS doesn’t lock when camera is OFF is really freaky. No HOT shoe at this pricetag is absolutely nuts. Also there are no LENSES to make this “pocketable”
Otherwise the LUT lab is pretty awesome and the XPAN is freaking amazing but not worth the pricetag.

Love this camera from Panasonic. The real time LUTS are amazing and i don’t have to use Lightroom anymore. The full frame sensor gives amazing depth. I also got the LUMIX S 1.8 primes and they are perfect with this camera. It’s so lightweight. I’m using it for photos and videos and its so easy to share to social media. I wasn’t interested in this S9 initially but decided to give it a go. I don’t regret getting it at all.
