Solid Leverless. Built well, easy to use/store. I would recommend avoiding only if you are still unsure on Leverless over traditional Arcade sticks.

Really slick form factor with responsive buttons. The cable securing system is a great idea, but I wish that Razer sold a replacement cable on their website. While a lot of USB-Cs will fit the plug, the Razer one is molded specifically to slide in and not wiggle. Taking off 1 star for that. All said, glad to see an official controller for the loverless format.

Learning curve took a bit but once I got the hand of it, I will never go back to my old fight-stick. Hands down the best lever-less fight-pad. I love the feel of the buttons as it feels like I stepped my game up to the next level.

Feels good to use, inputs are fast.
Cons:
No replacement parts available yet and no announcemnet on when they will start.

I very much enjoy this as my first hitbox I have used mix boxes and hori fighting pads since tekken 7 and I have bow switched to this in Tekken 8. I would like some sort of firmware update for Socd which razer could easily do. Then sadly no ps4 option which moving forward into new fighting games that won’t be an issues but for the enthusiast that what to play all fighting games especially the Evo line up you may run into issues down the road for compatibility if games are run on PC.

I like how much space you get to rest your hands on it. The buttons feel nice. The rightmost buttons take a while to get used to reaching.
Knocking stars off because it’s too expensive and the L3/R3 buttons should really have been bigger action buttons as other leverless controllers have started to do. Also no PS4 support is too bad, but I’m on PC/PS5 anyway. The black faceplate gets messy very quickly.

Good Side:
Great controller, the led lighting around the edges is great. The led lighting have numerous customizations like solid color, cycle thru the colors, brightness and different lighting modes. These customizations can be made while playing. There are some socd customization options. SOCD is simultaneous opposing cardinal directions. Meaning how should the controller read when up and down OR left and right is pressed at same time. Make sure you update your controller after purchasing. This will require going to razer website and easier method would be using a windows based operating system.
Bad Side:
There may be a steep learning curve for players unless they own/use other controllers similar/keyboard and mouse player. This controller really really show fingerprints. If that bothers you. I suggest getting vinyl skins from razer or mightyskins. Putting on a vinyl may be difficult but worth it. Line it up by touch pad and small buttons at top and slowly apply forcing the air out. If any of the vinyl is over the edge just lift and try again. Have proper lighting on when doing this. Photo of my mesh vinyl will be attached excuse any dust. Only 3 party buttons are available if you need to replace a button. Sorry for the length of this review and being so technical.

If you’re into grand blue fantasy VS rising or samurai shodown. This controller is meant for you. It is very responsive to the pS5 itself, including the PC. Also, you could actually add a decal or a wrap onto your controller. Check on my photo.
